§ Mr. HuttonNo. While we recognise the important role that "very sheltered housing" plays in the provision of long term care, there will continue to be a need for good quality residential care. Commissioners of care, working with housing authorities, need to ensure that a range of services is available to meet the needs of all those who require long term care.
