To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport what representations he has made to the Greek authorities about possible development of a sports complex for the 2004 Olympics on the site of the Battle of Marathon. [150271]

[holding answer 15 February 2001]: My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State has not made any representations to the Greek authorities on the matter of the development of the Battle of Marathon site for the 2004 Olympics. This is purely a matter for the Greek authorities.
