Mr. Robert AinsworthThis information is not normally held centrally as the Dangerous Wild Animals Act 1976 is administered by local authorities. However, as part of a review of the Act's effectiveness, contractors have discovered that approximately 370 licences were issued last year covering nearly 12,000 animals. The contractors are due to report their findings in April.
