§ Ms ArmstrongA best value inspection of Harlow District Council has recently taken place, and I understand that the Audit Commission and the authority are currently in discussion about the content of the final report, and the recommendations for action by the Council arising from it. The Commission have powers under the Local Government Act 1999 to recommend that the Secretary of State intervenes. No such recommendations have been received.
