To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant to his answer of 5 February 2001,Official Report, column 435W, on emergency services (hoax calls), what proportions of (a) 999 calls received by the Metropolitan police and (b) hoax calls and calls to which a police response was not deemed necessary were made from mobile phones.
