§ The Prime MinisterConsiderable progress has been made since 1998 with the restoration of devolution, the establishment of the principle of consent in statute and arrangements for cross border co-operation and the promotion of fairness and equality. I am committed to ensuring that progress continues on all fronts and to bring about lasting stability and prosperity for all the people of Northern Ireland.
