To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions if contracted-in stakeholder pension schemes will be deregistered. [21441]

[holding answer 10 December 2001]: The Occupational Pensions Regulatory Authority has written to the four stakeholder pension schemes that are not contracted-out, and they have the opportunity of applying for contracted-out status.
