To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions what plans he has to reform local government finance. [21572]

Mr. Raynsford

The Government have set out radical proposals for reforming local government finance in the local government White Paper "Strong Local Leadership— Quality Public Services". Copies of the White Paper which has been very well received, have been placed in the House Library.
