§ Mr. HuttonThe extra contractual referral system ended on 1 April 1999. Extra contractual referral income and expenditure information was collected in the financial monitoring returns of national health service trusts and health authorities. A table has been placed in the Library covering the years 1995–96 to 1998–99.
