§ Ms Rosie WintertonThe information sought is not recorded and held in a manner which would make it possible to answer these questions with absolute certainty. However, the Lord Chancellor is not aware of any member of the judiciary being charged with, cautioned for or convicted of corruption between 1996 and 2000; he is aware of a Circuit Judge who, during the period, was charged with, but not convicted of, fraud relating to his activities before he became a judge.
