To what extent the Scottish Intelligence Database will be subject to the terms of both the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Freedom of Information Act 2000, bearing in mind the proposal to link it to the National Crime Squad headquarters in London. [HL1623]

The Scottish Intelligence Database, when it becomes operational, will comply with the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Freedom of Information Act 2000 There are no plans to link the Scottish Intelligence Database with the National Crime Squad headquarters in London.
