§ The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of Social Security (Baroness Hollis of Heigham)As yet the EU Commission has not issued proposals for how the open method of co-ordination in the field of pensions will be taken forward. However, with regard to pension systems, the organisation and financing in particular remain the responsibility of each member state.
