§ Mr. VazUnder Protocol 5 of the Treaty on European Union, Denmark does not participate in the elaboration and the implementation of decisions and actions of the Union which have defence implications and is not obliged to contribute to the financing of operational expenditure arising from such measures. The UK participates fully in the development of the European Security and Defence Policy.
