What is the timetable for setting up the new independent Police Complaints Commission. [HL1241]

New legislation is needed in order to set up the Independent Police Complaints Commission. Legislation will be introduced when parliamentary time permits.
However, planning work is continuing and we expect the Independent Police Complaints Commission to be operational approximately 12 months after the new legislation receives Royal Assent.
