§ Mrs. BeckettLast Session, the number of pages in Bills grew by 28.8 per cent. between introduction and enactment. This Session, the increase is running at 3.8 per cent. However, there will always be occasions when the Government will need or wish to respond to relevant developments and table amendments as a result.
