Evaluation of the European Community's programme of development assistance to the West Bank and Gaza Strip, 1999.European Court of Auditors Special Report 19/2000 on the management by the Commission of the programme of assistance to Palestinian society.My Department has included as assessment of UK aid effectiveness in its draft Country Strategy Paper on the West Bank and Gaza Strip. We are reviewing our programme of bilateral co-operation with the Palestinians in the light of the current troubles and the terrible deterioration in economic and social conditions in the West Bank and Gaza. When the Strategy Paper is published a copy will also be placed in the Library.
