To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what investigations have been initiated into the circulation of posters in North London urging the murder of Jewish people. [134527]

Mr. Mike O'Brien

I understand that the Metropolitan police service has received a number of allegations regarding the dissemination of anti-Semitic material in North London. Arrests have been made. Papers have been submitted to the Crown Prosecution Service for a decision on the correct course of action to pursue in relation to the arrested people.

Inquiries are being vigorously progressed to determine the source of the material.
