§ Angela EagleThe Child Support Agency, in accordance with the Department's policy on compensation, makes consolatory payments for gross inconvenience. Each case is assessed on its individual merits. The Agency may make consolatory awards for gross inconvenience up to £250. Higher awards may be made, where appropriate, with the authority of the Department. The level of awards is under regular review.
