§ Ms JowellThe Government fully support the International Labour Organisation's Convention No. 182 concerning the prohibition and immediate action for the elimination of the worst forms of child labour and ratified the Convention in March 2000. As part of the implementation of the Convention we are required to identify work which by its nature, or the circumstances 41W under which it is carried out, is considered likely to harm the health, safety and morals of children under the age of 18. We are currently in the process of determining a list of harmful areas of work existing in the UK.
