§ Ms QuinThe Minister and I regularly meet colleagues from the other member states and the European Commission to discuss agricultural legislation. We are committed to the proper implementation of European legislation but also aware of the burdens that regulation can place on farmers. The recent Action Plan for Farming reaffirmed that we will avoid all gold plating of legislation.
