§ Mr. BoatengWe have introduced the Crime and Disorder Act 1998, the Youth Justice and Criminal Evidence Act 1999—which have led to the availability of reparation and action plan orders—and a range of new disposals aimed at early intervention in youth offending with a view to young people being challenged to face up to the consequences of their actions and make amends to their victims and the wider community.
