§ Ms Beverley HughesThe Secretary of State is aware of the achievements of the campaign in involving local communities in the care and maintenance of watercourses through the Mersey Basin Trust initiatives such as Stream Care, Waterside Revival and Green Action Grants. In addition through its Water Detectives resource packs for schools, the Campaign involves young people in the caring for their local rivers and streams.
