§ Kate HoeyMy Department has received three letters recently about the cancellation of athletics events on the public highway. The Association of Chief Police Officers is undertaking work on the staging of sporting events on the public highway and I am consulting it on the current position. I will write to the hon. Member as soon as I have had a response, placing copies of my reply in the Library.
