§ Yvette CooperI refer my hon. Friend to the answer I gave on 5 April 2000,Official Report, column 509W, in which I explained that the labelling of medicinal products is governed by European law. Therefore the United Kingdom cannot unilaterally introduce additional national statutory requirements in this area and the Government have no plans to propose such an amendment to European law.
