§ Ms Beverley Hughes[holding answer 16 March 2000]: The Public Examination of the draft revised Regional Planning Guidance for the South West prepared by the South West Regional Planning Conference, is currently taking place in Exeter. The draft Guidance includes a draft Regional Transport Strategy, which will be examined on 30 and 31 March. The final version of the Guidance including the Regional Transport Strategy, will be issued by the Secretary of State next winter in the light of the advice of the Panel for the Public Examination and following consultation on any significant changes.
