§ Baroness Scotland of AsthalIn October last year, the UN Secretary General's spokesman announced that blood and urine samples from people in southern Sudan complaining of burning sensations had been sent for analysis to the Center for Disease Control, an independent laboratory in Atlanta. The results of the measurements, as reported to the United Nations, indicated no evidence of exposure to chemicals.
