§ Mr. MullinEach year the Housing Corporation invites registered social landlords to bid for grants to build new properties and to rehabilitate existing ones. 25.3 per cent. of the 2000–01 programme for rent, amounting to £147.48 million, has been allocated for the rehabilitation of properties.
