§ Dr. MoonieOn 6 June 1999, there were 30 surface ships accommodated at HM Naval Base Clyde (Faslane). They were:
- Two in number Invincible class aircraft carriers
- Two in number Destroyers/Frigates
- 12 in Minor War vessels
- Six Fast patrol craft
- One Castle class offshore patrol vessel
- Four P2000 class patrol boats
- Three Support vessels.
