§ Mr. VazMembers of consultative committees of the European Union, such as the Committee of the Regions and the Economic and Social Committee have no diplomatic immunity. Therefore, no diplomatic passports have been issued to them and no diplomatic incidents have occurred involving such individuals in the UK, EU or further afield.
