§ Mr. VazNo date has yet been fixed for the OSCE fact-finding mission to Gali. Her Majesty's Government are working actively within the Friends of the Secretary-General group to help find a solution to the conflict in Abkhazia, Georgia. The Secretary of State discussed the situation in Abkhazia with President Shevardnadze and others during his visit to Georgia on 23–24 February.
