Dawn Primarolo

The Government are committed to encouraging people to make provision for financial security throughout their lives. They are seeking to create an environment which promotes savings opportunities for everyone, based on three principles of fairness, flexibility, and confidence and transparency. The Government have already announced measures to extend the savings habit to all, including the introduction of Individual Savings Accounts, stakeholder pensions and all-employee share schemes, as well as working with the financial service providers to tackle financial exclusion.
