§ Ms QuinThere is no scheme in place which compensates beef farmers or slaughterers for the disposal of specified material. The additional veterinary inspection 621W cost of overseeing the removal and destruction of specified risk material (SRM) from cattle is not presently passed on to cattle slaughterhouse operators but as there are no SRMs in pigs no additional veterinary inspection costs apply.
