To ask the Parliamentary Secretary, Lord Chancellor's Department what changes have been made to the procedure for barristers being called to serve as Queen's Counsel in Northern Ireland; and what related correspondence he has had with Seamus Tracey and Barry Macdonald. [133092]

The declaration made by barristers being called to serve as Queen's counsel in Northern Ireland has been changed and is now in the following formI [name] do sincerely promise and declare that I will well and truly serve all whom I may lawfully be called upon to serve in the office of one of Her Majesty's counsel learned in law according to the best of my skill and understanding.

Neither my noble and learned Friend the Lord Chancellor nor I have had any related correspondence with Seamus Tracey and Barry Macdonald.
