§ Dr. MoonieSince May 1997 the Ministry of Defence has funded 637 new build service married quarters in the UK. Of these, 394 were built from new, the remaining 243 were demolition rebuilds. Since May 1997, DHE have also placed four contracts in Great Britain under the Government's Private Finance Initiative (PFI), for a total of 615 properties.
For properties overseas, 120 are under construction in Cyprus and 13 have been built in the Falkland Islands.
