To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will give details of the extra funding for higher education research announced in the Comprehensive Spending Review, including the split of payments between(a) the Office for Science and Technology, (b) the Funding Councils and (c) the Wellcome Foundation the broad criteria for allocation and the degree of matched funding required for institutions.
