§ Ms Jowell[holding answer 26 July 2000]: Information raising concerns regarding Global Business Dimensions Ltd. was received by Government Office for the West Midlands on 16 December 1999. As a result of this information an investigation was initiated by the Department's ESF Unit and carried out by the Special Investigation Unit (SIU). As the SIU investigation is still continuing, it would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage.
