§ Mr. Paul MurphyIn 1997 the Welsh Office issued 650 press notices, 774 in 1998 and 776 in 1999. So far this year the Wales Office has issued 64 press notices.
The cost of issuing a press notice in 1999 was something in excess of £40. Figures for earlier years are not available.
