§ Yvette Cooper[holding answer 17 July 2000]: The numbers of coronary artery bypass graft operations carried out in National Health Service trusts in England for the past five years for which figures are available are as follows.

In March this year we also published the National Service Framework for coronary heart disease, a 10-year plan for improving the prevention, treatment and diagnosis of heart disease.
