§ Mr. Charles ClarkeThe scheme is under review at the present time. The review was launched by the issue last year of a consultation paper entitled "Compensation for Victims of Violent Crime: Possible Changes to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme". The responses to that public consultation exercise are still under consideration, and we hope to be in a position to announce our intentions shortly after the summer recess.
