§ Mrs. RocheWe are committed to restoring a right of appeal to family visitors who have been refused entry clearance. Part IV of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 enables us to do this. We will be bringing Part IV into effect on 2 October 2000, the day on which the Human Rights Act 1998 comes into force.
