To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security how many people aged between 55 and 65 years acting as carers for relatives under the age of 50 years received (a) invalid care allowance and (b) carers premium in (i) 1998, (ii) 1988 and 9 (iii) 1978; and what is the projected figure for 2008.
