Mr. Cousins

To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment what percentage of children in LEA and LEA-supported schools achieved(a) five GCSE A to C grades, (b) level 2 or above at Key Stage 1, (c) level 4 or above at Key Stage 2, (d) levels 5, 6 or above at Key Stage 3 in each of the three years (i) in the city of Newcastle, and (ii) in England; and what the average figure was in each category in each of these years for metropolitan authorities outside London.
