§ Ms QuinWe are working on a number of initiatives with interested organisations, including the National Farmers Union and IGD (formerly the Institute of Grocery Distribution) to encourage primary producers to work together and with their customers, and to increase understanding of one another and of consumers. The importance of such partnerships was highlighted in the report of the Food Chain Group, which was published last November. The Group identified a range of issues for Government and for industry, and we intend to review progress in the summer.
