§ Mr. SpellarThe estimated additional cost of the Ministry of Defence Police investigation into allegations of offences against the Official Secrets Act by Major Stankovic is £266,000. Costs incurred by other areas of the Department in support of the investigation, were not routinely recorded but would not have been large. The Army investigation is still in progress.
