§ Mr. Caborn[holding answer 7 February 2000]: No business for which ECGD has issued cover in the period 1997 to 1999 has given rise to losses.
However ECGD has recognised losses in this period in respect of business which was the subject of guarantees issued prior to 1997. In the case of defence-related business the losses are as follows:
