§ Dawn PrimaroloThis Government have already introduced a reduced rate of 5 per cent. for the grant-funded installation of energy saving materials. Annex K of the Sixth VAT Directive allows member states to adopt optional experimental reduced rates for the renovation and repair of private dwellings, which would cover the related installation of energy saving materials.
