§ Mr. Charles ClarkeSchools are designated as bodies which must co-operate with partnerships in the development and implementation of local crime and disorder reduction strategies. One of the strands of the Crime Reduction Programme is an investment of £12 million in projects designed to combat truancy and exclusions.
