§ Ms QuinMAFF has not issued advice on the sugar content of packaged baby foods as statutory controls are laid down in the Processed Cereal Based Foods and Baby Foods for Infants and Young Children Regulations 1997. These Regulations implement European rules and any amendments would need to be agreed at Community level.
