§ Clare ShortAs part of the on-going Review of the Export Credits Guarantee Department's Mission and Status, the scope of the productive expenditure initiative is being considered, and my Department is contributing actively to that work. A copy of our Department's position paper on the role of ECGD, which was submitted to the Review in December 1999, has been placed in the Library of the House, with a copy of the supporting consultancy study.
