§ Mr. StringerThe first year for which there are records containing statistical information about ethnic minorities and staff with disabilities is 1989. Prior to this date surveys of the ethnic origin of staff or those with disabilities were not carried out in a comprehensive way. Information about the educational background of staff could be obtained only by searching individual records of staff.
